THE NOBILITY IN THE TIME OF CHANGE: REVIEW ON THE BOOK BY R. V. FEDOSEEV «HOUSEHOLD OF THE NOBILITY IN THE MIDDLE VOLGA REGION IN THE SECOND HALF

OF THE XIX – EARLY XX CENTURY»

This article analyzes the monograph by R. V. Fedoseev «Household of the Nobility in the Middle Volga Region in the Second Half of the XIX – early XX century». The representation of the source base, the structure and the main conclusions of the monograph are given. The article points to the positive sides of the work, such as relevance, good foundation sources, their thorough analysis, independent observation and original conclusions representing a significant scientific interest. The article gives the conclusion that the monographic study by R. V. Fedoseev is an original study of one of the most important issues of Russian economic history and makes a significant contribution to the study of both on the regional and the national levels.
