ANALYTICAL SCIENTIFIC REPORT ON THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE «THE GREAT RUSSIAN REVOLUTION: ECONOMIC PREREQUISITES AND CONSEQUENCES»
From November 24 to 26, 2017 in the city of Saransk, in the framework of events timed to the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution, with the support of the «History of the Fatherland» Fund, the International Scientific Conference «The Great Russian Revolution: Economic Preconditions and Consequences» was held, and the VI Merkushkin Scientific Readings. Representatives of various scientific centers, universities, archives, museums and other organizations successfully studying the economic history, participating in the formation of a balanced and objective assessment of the causes and consequences of the Great Russian Revolution were able to communicate creatively at the conference site. The conference demonstrated the relevance in modern scientific and fundamental knowledge of studying the economic prerequisites and consequences of the Great Russian Revolution. It actualized the need to consolidate the historical community and citizens of Russia on the basis of the formation of common and objective approaches to the interpretation and study of the Great Russian Revolution of 1917. Holding the conference strengthened the integration of scientific developments, a productive dialogue was established between specialists and scientists not only in the socio-humanitarian, but also in the natural sciences, information and other fields of scientific knowledge, increasing the effectiveness of their research and development using mathematical and statistical methods and information technologies; new research problems, methods, new sources, methodological approaches in studying the economic prerequisites and consequences of the Great Russian Revolution have been revealed.
