In the period of the rental and commercial department of the Izhevsk weapon and steel factory (1865–1884) management of these companies and the government awarded the Izhevsk gunsmiths silver and gold medals «For diligence» in Stanislavsky and Anninsky tapes, to be worn on the chest and neck workshops caftans – a kind of analogue of the coats of the king’s shoulder and the rank of the personal honourable citizenship. At the award account is taken of the merits of the workmen, and servants in the previous production period, and private participation in modernization of enterprises for mass production and rearmament of the Russian army’s latest small arms models. Not overlooked and moral qualities of each award person. The author notes that the medals were given to the factory workers rarely, you might say a disproportionately large amount of the work performed by the staff of the enterprise. But the greater and more valuable each the received award was.
